Strategic Plan

Covenant Christian School is an exciting story of God’s sovereignty.  Our vision is one of an academically advanced educational program that is rooted in the rich heritage of the Christian faith. At CCS, students enjoy a nurturing, caring environment where their training results in tremendous personal, academic, and spiritual growth – all leading to a deeper faith in God, who is the sole source of truth and wisdom.

Every child is a unique creation of God, created in His image, with the responsibility of leading and shaping of our culture under the Lordship of Christ.

The essential tools for learning are given early in a child’s education in order to develop a life-long love for learning. At CCS, children are taught the benefits of hard work and are challenged to apply what they learn through opportunities designed to strengthen spirit, mind, and body.  (See Figure 1 for CCS Student Profile)

CCS has been blessed with an experienced, qualified faculty, who are personally committed to a Christian philosophy of life.  This is reflected in their ability to apply Biblical principles in their teaching and in their own lives.  The CCS faculty and staff are characterized by a love for God and a passion for teaching.

Sound educational philosophy is necessary for a sound education.  In addition, a sound educational philosophy is impossible apart from Biblical truth.  Therefore, we believe:

  • God is the Creator of the universe by His omnipotent power
  • God is the providential, omniscient One who sustains the universe
  • God is the sole source of truth and wisdom.

Our philosophy of education is distinctly and unabashedly Christian, which demands that we employ sound methods of instruction that maintain Scripture as its foundation.

This Christ-centered and classical method is time-tested and implemented for the purpose of first acquiring the knowledgeof God, which is the true source of knowledge and wisdom.
