Covenant Christian school is the story of continuing fulfillment
of a vision, a vision of a well-developed, biblically-based
education for our children, steeped in the rich heritage of
the Christian faith. |

| Here
students have found a nurturing environment where their
training has taken them into personal, academic, and spiritual
growth, leading to a deeper faith in God.
We believe that every child is a unique creation of
God with the responsibility of becoming a contributing
member of our culture and society under the Lordship
of Christ. In keeping with these principles the curricular
and co-curricular activities are carefully planned and
organized to foster academic growth and personal development.
Students are exposed to, and instructed in, the various
disciplines so that they will become productive citizens
in God's
Kingdom
and in our culture. They will be able to apply their
Christian commitment and principles to all areas of
their lives.
We believe that the essential tools for learning need
to be given to children early in their development so
that a life-long love for learning will be the result.
Knowledge worth gaining is also worth the time and patience
it requires to obtain it. So at CCS children are taught
the benefits of hard work but are also challenged to
apply what they learn through opportunities designed
to strengthen mind and heart.
We are able to do this through an experienced and qualified
faculty. Covenant teachers are personally committed
to a Christian philosophy of life, reflected in their
ability to apply sound biblical principles in their
respective teaching areas and in their own practice
of personal piety. They are characterized by a love
for God a continuing love for learning which they also
transfer to their students.
Our philosophy of education is distinctly Christian,
requiring us to employ sound methods of introducing
students to the various subjects they will study. These
methods are decidedly biblically-based and time-tested,
so that every student may acquire a knowledge of God
in addition to the scholastic and cultural literacy
he will need for life. |
