"Rags and Stitches" Sewing Classes

 

Registration is Closed - Spring Session starts 3/9 and 3/10.


 

Grade Levels:

1st - 5th
 

Class Description:

Join Ms. Regenia Cotton for an adventure in sewing and design! Students will learn to stitch, sew buttons, hem, etc. Old clothing will be transformed into useful and attractive accessories and gifts. A great opportunity to work on fine motor skills and detailed projects...this is not just for girls! Projects will be sent home throughout the session as they are completed.
 
In the new Advanced level class, students will also learn to lay and cut patterns, hand basting and machine stitching.

Other Notes to Parents:
  • Sending an extra snack is recommended for your student to eat while waiting for class to start at 3:30.
  • Pick up your student(s) in the fellowship hall at 5:00 through the side courtyard door. Please find the teacher to sign out your student(s).
  • If student is not picked up by 5:00, an after-care teacher will sign out the student and escort him or her to after-care.

Advanced Sewing Class: Mondays 3:30 - 5:00
Sewing Class: Tuesdays 3:30 - 5:00

Spring 2015 Advanced Sewing Class: Monday, 3/9 - Monday, 5/11 (No class 4/6)
 
Spring 2015 Sewing Class: Tuesday, 3/10 - Tuesday, 5/12 (No class 4/7)

Class Size:

4-8 per class
 

Tuition:

$105 before 2/20; or $115 by 3/4 for 9-week session
 
Tuition includes most materials, some items will be requested from home.
