Logic Stage of Classical Education
Covenant Christian School is committed to shepherding middle school students, or logic school as it is called in the Classical Methodology, through the challenging transition between elementary school and high school. We believe logic school students have unique needs, both academically and socially, and we seek to meet those needs in a variety of ways with academics, leadership opportunities and social events.
The academic rigor of the CCS Logic School is significant. We believe this increased responsibility is appropriately balanced with a measure of privilege and leadership development.
Logic school students are given the opportunity to practice loving leadership by working with younger students in a variety of programs. They also occasionally lead aspects of worship in combined chapel services. In 2013, the Logic School launched its first year of a Student Council.
The annual logic school retreat is a highlight event. Students bond in a special way during this time of fun and spiritual refreshment.
