Frequently Asked Questions

What is RENWEB and ParentsWeb?

RENWEB is an online grading system that will allow you to see your child’s grades online. ParentsWeb is the website you will use to view information in the system. Your child’s teacher will enter his/her grades into the system once the assignment has been graded. You will be able to view Progress Reports and Report Cards on ParentsWeb, as well as the daily graded assignments. Some teachers may also post assignments & upcoming tests or quiz information on ParentsWeb.

 

My child is a new student at Covenant Christian School. How do I get a ParentsWeb account?

You may contact the office manager by e-mail or phone. Once your information has been entered into the system (usually within one business day) you will receive an e-mail from the school verifying that you have been entered into the system and explaining how you can login and retrieve your password.

 

I can’t remember how to login to ParentsWeb.

  1. Go to www.renweb.com
  2. Click on Logins tab
  3. Click on the ParentsWeb
  4. Type in the school ID which is: COV-GA
  5. Type in the e-mail address or username that you received.
  6. Enter the password you received in the e-mail sent from RENWEB
  7. Make sure the Parent tab is selected
  8. Click Login

 

What do I do once I’m logged into ParentsWeb?

Please click the “Tour the New ParentsWeb” icon located in the left-hand corner of the ParentsWeb website once you have logged in. The tour will teach you how to navigate and use the newly designed site.

 

How do I view my child’s Progress Report?

  1. Login to ParentsWeb
  2. On the main screen you will see a calendar. On the left-hand side there will be links to different pages on the website. Click on the “Classroom’s” link.
  3. Click on the link “Gradebook Summary.”
  4. All of your child’s classes and grades will appear in the Gradebook Summary page. Within two school days after the 9 weeks period has ended, these grades listed in the Gradebook Summary will be posted as the Progress Report grade.
  5. For more information on how this grade was achieved click on Gradebook Details.

 

Will I receive a copy of my child’s reports?

Progress Reports are available at any time on ParentsWeb and will be e-mailed to you at the e-mail address you provided the school at the beginning of the school year. A report Card will be sent home at the end of each 9 week period.

 

My login information worked last year, why isn’t it working this year?

Due to recent upgrades (August 2011), logging in to ParentsWeb may have changed. Please use the link on the school website or go directly to www.RenWeb.com.

 

What if I am using a Mac computer?

Mac users will not be able to login using the Safari browser that comes installed on your computer.

Go to the Firefox Free Download site @ Http://www.mozilla.com/en-US. And download the Firefox browser on your Mac (this is a safe program).

 

What if some areas of RenWeb are blank (Grades, Assignments, Resources, ect)?

Firefox seems to be the best browser to view your ParentsWeb account. Go to the Firefox Free Download site @ Http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ and download the Firefox browser on your Mac (this is a safe program) whenever you need to access RenWeb, be sure to do it using Firefox.
