Thank you for your interest in Covenant Christian School.  We invite you to explore this section to find out more about our admissions process.

Pray, Examine and Ask

Selecting the right school for your child is a big responsibility – one that cannot be taken lightly.  Christian parents have both the opportunity as well as an obligation to the Lord to rear their children in a way that is pleasing to Him.  Our covenantal commitment to our families creates an educational environment that assists our parents in fulfilling this God-given obligation.

Pray for the Lord’s guidance.  Take the time to read through our website.  Come in and examine for yourself what takes place in our school.  Read about classical Christian education and ask questions!  We want you to get to know US and how seriously we take the responsibility to our parents as well as OUR expectations of our families here at CCS.

Covenant Christian School is a private school, fully accredited by AdvancED (SACS) and the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC).  Among CCS’s professional memberships are the Atlanta Christian School Association (ACSA) and the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS).

At CCS, our K4 seeks to maintain a 12:1 student to teacher ratio with older grades targeting a 16:1 ratio.  The teachers at CCS are well-trained, nurturing and caring professionals who have extensive experience in teaching the Classical method.

CCS also specializes in finding the right high school match for our students by allowing them opportunities for exposure to many area high schools via shadowing days and visiting with representatives from other private schools and public IB programs.  The Director of Admissions and entire faculty work closely with students and parents to help them make wise and informed decisions regarding where they will continue to flourish in their high school education.

As we partner with Christian families in the education of their children, our covenantal policy states that we believe children who benefit the most from being at CCS are those who are actively discipled at home and at church.  We seek families who take their children to church and regularly teach them about the worship of God.  Therefore, each prospective student must have at least one parent/legal guardian who professes faith in Christ and is a member in good standing in a Christian, Bible-believing church.  Though a wide variety of church denominations are represented at CCS, this policy helps create a school which is comprised of families who are “on the same page” and is of great benefit to all of the Covenant community.

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:6-7

In Him,

Adair Flowers
